Install Nokia PC Suite first.
Attach the phone to the computer using the cable provided.
Windows will install the necessary drivers.
When the two devices are connected, a list of options will appear on your phone. select PC Suite mode:
Launch the Nokia PC Suite on your computer:
An icon will appear in the system tray in the bottom right hand corner, which will be gray when the phone isn’t connected, and blue when it is:
Click on the Nokia PC Suite tab:
You should see a window like this:
Click on the Store images icon:
A window will appear as the software checks out your phone’s memory:
Another window will appear with the status of your images and videos. Make a note of the folder where the images are going to be stored in (usually your My Pictures folder). Then click Store now:
You may be asked whether you want to erase the images from your phone. It’s best to, to save space, so long as you’re loading them to a computer that is yours, or one you’ll have future access to.
The images should start being moved to your computer:
In the meantime, find the folder where they’re being stored on your computer. My Pictures is usually a subfolder of the My Documents folder:
Nokia usually moves the photos into dated subfolders with the year first, then the month, then the date, so 20080421 is April 21 2008:
(Your folder may not look exactly like that, but you get the idea.)
By now your photos and videos should have stopped moving across from the phone, in which case the Image Store will appear again telling you that all photos have been erased from the phone:
