Google alerts are useful ways to keep tabs on issues, people, events and topics you cover. Here’s how to set them up.
Go to google.com/alerts
Fill out the box:
Search terms follow the usual Google search operators. To limit your search use “”s etc
You can select everything or limit your search to News, Blogs, Discussion or Videos
You can set the number of times you receive an email to once a day, once a week, or as it happens (in other words, when Google finds a match.)
You can choose to receive the alert as an email or as an RSS feed.
Click on the link to the left (or here) to manage your alerts or add new ones:
